The Prodigy - Apple Wood (w/Copper Leaf) Live Edge Hollow Form by Pretty Good Woodturner-9.5" x 5.5" - Functional Art - Wood Sculpture - Housewarming Gift

This stunning apple wood Hollow form was handmade last week out of locally salvaged apple wood.  I used Copper Leaf to embellish the inside of the hollow form.   The end result is that this item's inside glows if there is any source of light at all in a room. 

Truly a one of a kind piece of art.  The hollow form kept it's live edge all the way around the opening.  The apple tree had some funky shape on the outside which is what resulted in this beautiful shape.

Dimensions:  9.5" Wide x 5.5" Tall.  Sealed with cellulose sanding sealer and finished with 3 coats of clear gloss spray lacquer on the outside.  Copper leaf on the inside.

Named after UFC pioneer and hall of famer, BJ Penn, "The Prodigy" was turned by Illinois Pretty Good Woodturner. Shane Boland.
