Pretty Good Little Apple Bowl With Bark Inclusion and Spalting - Handmade by Illinois Woodturner - 7.25" x 3.25" - Unique Bowl - Wood Art

I turned this beautiful little apple wood bowl out of wood from a locally salvaged apple tree that came down in a storm this summer just south of Watseka, IL.  

The wood started as one limb growing around another one, which resulted in a bark inclusion running through the bowl and all kinds of unique character.  You will not find another piece like this anywhere.  

Finished with boiled linseed oil.  Food Safe, but won't make a good soup bowl.  ;-)

This apple wood was given to me by a nice lady who lives just south of Watseka, IL after a storm came through and knocked down an apple tree in her front yard.
