Live Edge Black Walnut #9

This live edge black walnut bowl was turned in October by Saint Anne Wood Turner, Shane Boland.  The Wood was sourced from Mokena, IL.

Sealed with sanding sealer and finished with two coats of high gloss polyurethane. 

This bowl was turned while wet (partially kiln dried) and may warp or crack while it finishes drying.  It does have one crack from when it was in the kiln.  I took it out early to salvage the piece before it cracked too much.  This was repaired during turning with CA glue.
