Spalted Black Cherry Bowls from the Beard's Backyard | Set of 2 Bowls | SOLD!

The Beard's wife wanted a path cut through the back woods to the forest preserve and the Beard got distracted by a black cherry tree that had gotten knocked down in a storm a couple of years ago.  The spalting really makes these two pieces unique.  The bowls are made from two sides of the same log.  One is smaller as the Beard was chasing a crack when turning the first one.  Unique pieces.  Finished with linseed oil & beeswax.  Bowls turned wet are starting to warp as they dry.  Very unique and cool set!
