"El Guapo"

"El Guapo" is a part of the Beard's Signature Series and is a natural edge vase made from a black walnut (crotch) limb the Beard got from some nice folks in Mokena, IL this summer.  Because the main limb was splitting out into 4 different smaller limbs in one spot, the end grain is visible going in seemingly every direction. The El Guapo Vase was turned while wet, sealed with two coats of polyurethane which was buffed to a matte finish and then treated with "wood nectar" which is a combination of mineral oil, beeswax and carnauba wax. 

"El Guapo", which means "The Handsome" in Spanish, is a clean and modern looking vase and is named after the beautiful, clean bald head of one of the best personalities and hardest hitting MMA legends of all time, Bas Rutten.
